Scylla Bay Room -

The Scylla Bay room overlooking Scylla Bay is the ideal venue for any occassion. The room caters for up to120 guests. The adjoining balcony with it's extrodinary water views is an ideal place for your guests to enjoy pre-dinner drinks & canapes whilst admiring the view.
At the Como we specialise in all types of events i.e. weddings, engagement parties, birthday parties, sports lunches, wakes etc.

Event times-

Sit down & cocktail events are for a duration of 4 hours. For an additional fee events may go into extra time depending on finishing times. This will need to be organised prior to the event.

Generally night time events would start at about 6pm for a sit down event & 7pm for a cocktail event.

Security -

Certain functions may require security on the night, depending on the type of function, number & age of guests attending. Security guards are at an additional cost.

Entertainment-

Entertainment & auto visual facilities are available at various costs, however you may organise your own entertainment. All entertainment is to be approved by Como Hotel management prior to the event.

Conferences:

The Como Hotel has a wonderful venue called the Scylla Bay room. The room holds 120 people with a data projector, eight foot screen, lectern and microphone. The Scylla Bay room has water views and a wrap around balcony where delegates can mingle and enjoy the view.
 
We can cater for all your needs from tea and coffee on arrival, morning tea, a variety of lunch options and afternoon tea.
